None of my flights were too bad (even though there was a lot of traveling involved). Although Paris was a little stressful because i had never been to the airport, don't speak french, and had a tight layover. i made it though!
Last night we went out to dinner--let me tell you how fabulous italian food is. actually, words cannot describe the deliciousness. we started with an appetizer, then progressed to our first course (a ravioli-type pasta), followed by a second course (some kind of meat for everyone else, a platter of asparagus, green beans, carrots, spinach, and another unidentified but delectable vegetable), and of course desert (... i have no idea what it was, but it was pretty fabulous).
Florence is beautiful. Even having been here before, I'm still blown away by this incredible city. We moved into our apartments today!

We also took a walking tour today, which i took lots of pictures during, but since I used my SLR camera, the quality is too good for blogger. I'll have to figure out how to downgrade the quality, then post a virtual tour.
I don't have time for much detail right now, but I will update more later!
