That's right. An Italian Beatles cover band. It was very funny. Unfortunately, they didn't play very many really popular songs, which makes sense when you consider they play every week. These guys have got to get tired of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and With a Little Help from My Friends. Also, the singer still had a pretty thick Italian accent.
Wednesday was the 150th anniversary of the Formation Italian Republic or something like that, so we had no school. Instead, I went to Pisa with my best friend Laura and some of her friends from her study abroad program.

It rained. Luckily, it was lunch time so we took cover in a restaurant where I was delighted to realize I was eating pizza in Pisa.
We had to get the classic tourist picture holding up the leaning tower, as well as a few more creative ones.

Pisa was fun, but really once you see the leaning tower there's nothing left to do. It makes me wonder why they decided to build in such a small city, but then again, they weren't really planning for it to be famous...
